There is no doubt Singapore is a beautiful country, but we do not want to let you think that the beauty of exotic landscapes of this country is the only thing that you must think about. As a traveler to a completely unknown destination internationally, it becomes important for you to remember a lot of valuable advice to make your trip more comfortable and memorable.

# When you enter Singapore, it is advisable to carry with you a valid passport and visas.
* American and Canadian passport holders who visit Singapore for business or social visit purposes do not need a visa for a maximum of 30 days. All other passport holders should contact Singapore consulate or embassy.

# As a visitor, you are required to have a passport valid for at least 6 months after the last day stay in Singapore.
# Do not forget to bring your confirmed ticket / return tickets, as such things as visa or entry permit) and sufficient funds for your stay in Singapore.

# The currency of Singapore is Singapore dollar. For the convenience of the traveler, foreign exchange services are available in most banks, hotels, shopping malls and at Changi airport.

# Public transport and taxis are readily available at Changi airport to the city centre. The Mass Rapid Transit train system operates from the airport to downtown. The MaxiCab, a six-car shuttle bus operates throughout the day. Tickets must be purchased in advance of the shuttle service.

# Jaywalking laws, waste and chewing gum are strictly enforced in urban areas.

# Smoking is widely discouraged in Singapore and is illegal in several public places closed.

# The malls and shopping streets are the best places to opt for purchases in Singapore. In Singapore, shopping hours are generally 10 hours at approximately 9:30 pm daily.

# Carry with you a few loose and light summer clothing, especially for output. In business meetings and official invitations, formal dress is preferred.

# Although the streets are quite safe, even at night, it is advisable to avoid dark and secluded streets.

# The Singapore tropical climate offers visitors’ unlimited opportunities to experience a relaxing outdoor vacation all year.
