Changi Chapel and Museum
The chapel of the Changi is a testament
to the memory of fifty thousand
soldiers and civilians, detained
by Japanese troops during World
War II. New chapels have been built
as a replica of chapels that exist
during the war. The museum has documents,
photographs, drawings and prisoners
housed here at this time.
Battle Box
Singapore on the fateful morning
of 15 February fell into the hands
of the Japanese. With audio-visual
effects and hi-tech simulations

past events.
The bottle is placed in Box Hill
and Fort Canning was the largest
command center for Malaysia British
Headquarters during the Second World
War. It is a bombproof complex and
includes a long hallway with 22
rooms and the ability to recover
its air supply.
Memorial war for civilians
Located at the War Memorial Park,

erected as a tribute to all those
who died during the Japanese occupation

Johor Battery
The Johore Battery was discovered
in 1991 by the Singapore Prisons
Department. The British built in

used to store ammunition. Before
the surrender of British troops,
weapons have been destroyed, and
now instead of the three weapons,
15-inch shell, replicas were made.
Kranji War Memorial
The Kranji War Memorial site is
also a tribute to the thousands
who gave their lives in World War.
It houses the graves of nearly four
thousand military personnel and
12 columns are inscribed on the
names of more than 24000 bodies
which were not recovered.
During the Second World War, the
Kranji War Memorial Hospital was
a cemetery, which was later transformed
into a military cemetery. The first
two presidents of Singapore were
also buried here.
Fort Siloso
A window to recall the colonial
past of Singapore Fort Siloso was
opened to the public only in 1975.
Built in the years 1880 by the British,
it is located at the west end of
the island of Sentosa. The Japanese
invaders of Fort Siloso was used
as a concentration camp during World
War II.
Reflections at Bukit Chandu
A monument for the 1400 dead soldiers
of the Malay Regiment during the
Second World War was located in
the opium Hill. The galleries detail
