A special event was organized by the Council to mark the third age grandparents 'day.
To promote greater international liaison, the Council of Aging has aligned a series of events Day grandparents. He was a mass exercise session in the Central Business District (CBD). The event was attended by over 2500 elderly and their families.The event included a walk through the CBD, Boat Quay and historic Elgin Bridge.

A book of 250 letters from grandparents was published by the National Library Board. In this book, 250 grandparents shared their views and thoughts of being grandparents. A grandmother expressed love and affection to stay in the family members waited at the same time the younger generation to study hard and respect their parents at any time.
