Shopping malls in Singapore

Singapore really lives up to its name shopper’s paradise; Singapore offers the consumer a great assortment of goods. Many shopping malls housing a countless shops selling all kinds of goods and products can be found here. Singapore is a port and hence offers all these goods at a price much lower than in their countries of origin. Most malls are open all week and for ten to eleven hours per day. As its name indicates the Arab street is a predominantly Muslim area and is famous for its Sultan mosque, which is an impressive building with a vast prayer hall and a large golden dome.

In 1985, Mr.Mustaq Ahmad decided to settle in Serangoon Plaza, located away from the main belt of Little India. He selected an area of 40000 square feet on the ground floor of the building. The store became an immediate success, and more space was rented inside the building to accommodate the growing clientele. After 2 years of careful planning, he decided to go ahead to set up his own building.
In April 1995, Mustafa Center became a reality and immediately became a shopping paradise to many people. On weekends, the store is packed with more than 15000 customers of all nationalities.

Customers can get almost anything of more than 75000 articles posted on four levels, covering an area of 70000 square feet on six floors which houses a hotel with 130 rooms that is tastefully furnished, with Shop and Stay under one roof, along Syed Alwi Road. The business concept offers other services such as foreign exchange transactions that, has helped to contribute to the growth of the company.

Orchard Road

A paradise for consumers, Orchard Road offers a wide variety of options to satisfy all tastes and budgets. There is a plethora of restaurants, cafes, shops and bars which are alive and occurs at night. Some shopping malls and interesting places of Singapore are, Ngee Ann City, Paragon, Palais Renaissance, Tangs, the Far East Plaza and Lucky Plaza.
